Background Information
In early October, The Hraniv Border Zone was a major source of conflict between Russia and Ukraine such as daily gunfights between Border Guards, the United Nations Peacekeeping Force deploying, and even an RT Journalist being murdered. Both countries were alleged to have started violent incursions into each other in Hraniv. After almost a month of clashes, Ukraine officially closed its borders along The Hraniv Region. The Hraniv Border Zone would fall silent during November. A month later, Russia and Ukraine would go to war.

“The Russian Government is ready to allow civilian travel between both nations. We are also prepared to combat Ukrainian hostilities on our doorstep and are fully prepared against Ukrainian incursions into sovereign Russian land, as we know they want to attempt to steal Crimea and even more from Russia.”
-Kremlin Spokesperson
Tensions between the two countries have calmed down to an extent, however, both countries are still cautious with each other and their militaries are on high alert. It's expected that The Hraniv Border Zone will be fully opened and operational by 2/11/22.
